The Tron Theatre is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the information you leave in our hands is used responsibly. As we are registered under the terms of the Data Protection Act (1998), we will only use your information in a lawful manner.

You can browse our website or make enquiries with our Box Office via telephone or in person without disclosing any personal information. However, if you book tickets or workshops, register for our mailing list or e-bulletins, or provide any personal data in any other form, we will only process your personal data in accordance with the relevant legislation.


Choose What We Send You

When you book over the phone, in person or online, we will ask you if you would like to receive information from us and the visiting companies that you attend at the Tron. We also ask if you would like to receive this information via email.

If you are making a booking for a Scottish Youth Theatre performance through our Box Office, we will also ask you if you would like to receive information from the Scottish Youth Theatre, the companies you attend there and if you would like this information via email.

You are free to sign up for as much or as little as you would like.

If you change your mind, and no longer wish to receive information from the Tron Theatre or the Scottish Youth Theatre, please get in contact with our Box Office. Should you solely wish e-bulletins to stop, please click the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of one of our e-bulletins.


Our Security

We take all measures to ensure your personal information is kept safe and secure.

Pages on our website where you are required to leave personal information are encrypted to a high standard. This means that your information is secure during its transit through the internet.

After we have received your information, we use up-to-date technology with a view to protecting that information against loss or misuse. We also only allow authorised personnel access to personal information you provide.

Any information passed onto the Scottish Youth Theatre will be for ticket identification only. Contact details will only be passed on where you have agreed to receive information from the Scottish Youth Theatre.
